Looking for places to stay in Alpena, AR? Now that I have a rock & mortar studio space, I want to begin offering classes and workshops again. And since the studio is located in Alpena, Arkansas, then participants coming from out of town will need places to stay! These are the places I know of. If you own a short-term rental, b-n-b, or have recommendations I can add to this list of Lodging Near Alpena, please leave a comment with details.
As far as I know, there’s only one in Alpena itself, or in what’s called the ‘Denver’ area, which is almost the same as saying it’s in Alpena. It’s the Bunkhouse Uno listed first. The second listing is between the Denver area and Hollister, MO, but still not far from Alpena.
After that, the nearest location for stays would be Harrison. Branson is only an hour away or less, and Eureka Springs is about an hour and a half, if you’d like to combine a little tourism during your Wild Ozark workshop stay. A great road trip loop of things to see or places to visit include the Buffalo National River via the sweet town of Jasper, then head on to eat at the Low Gap Cafe, stop and look around at Boxley Valley and then head for Kingston before completing the circuit back to Alpena.
If you choose to stay at any of these locations, please leave a guestbook entry or review at the location to let the owners know that you found it here first 😀

Farther Afield
There are a lot of cabins and short-term rentals in the Buffalo National River area. I have some of them listed on my page of Kingston Area Lodging. These will all be farther to drive, but the beauty may be worth it to you. So while lodging near Alpena may be limited, there’s enough to do in the area to make it work if you’d like to tour this beautiful part of the country.
