I have a few dates to announce for January exhibits and events. First up is a pop-up exhibit on Jan. 9 at the Rogers Experimental House during the Downtown Rogers Art on the Bricks. I’ll be there with original works from 4:30 to 7:30 pm.
On the 10th I’m doing an abbreviated Paleo Paint making workshop for the Artists of Northwest Arkansas in Fayetteville. I am not sure if there are any open slots for this one, but email me if you’re interested and I’ll find out. We’re starting with processed pigments on this one.
Then on the 14th, Destination Unknown will be in USCO’s Seven States Biennial January exhibit at the Museum of the Red River in Idabel, OK. I couldn’t find anything about this at their website, but if a write-up shows up about it, I’ll link to it here.
On the 19th I’ll be doing a workshop on making a basic paint from foraged rocks at ONSC near Huntsville, AR. In case of bad weather, we’ll do it the following Saturday, same location.
Once all the January exhibits and events are wrapped up, I’m going to be out of pocket until March. For the month of February I’ll be in Doha, Qatar enjoying time with my husband who is working out there. And also enjoying middle Eastern cuisine, visiting the art museums and falcon souk, and working on art and writing while Rob’s at work during the day.
In March I’m planning to be at Art on the Bricks again on the second Thursday. I’ll update the dates on my graphic below as I know the locations. Hopefully I can find some of the other participating businesses to host me throughout the year.
Paintings at the January Exhibits
Be sure to let me know if there’s a particular painting you’d like to see at one of the pop-up exhibits or events. I may not have room to hang them all so will choose my favorites to bring along unless there are requests. You can see what I have on hand at my online galleries at PaleoPaints.com.
I hope to see some of you out and about this month!
